Marketing Executive at Bethesda, Peter Hines, has stated that Fallout 4 is “basically done.” This comes after countless requests of new features to be included in Fallout 4 by fans. Hines says that it is too late to include these fan-requested features. Bethesda, rather, is working on polishing and fixing any bugs in the game.
Hines stated, “Let’s be honest, [right now] it doesn’t matter what anybody wants for a feature in Fallout 4. The game is basically done. It was by and large done before we announced it, in terms of the features going in. You’re not adding new features in May, June, July in the year you’re releasing; you’re trying to get everything fixed.”
Hines went on to clarify that they listened extensively to fans throughout the development. They went over reviews and forums of Fallout 3 and took into account what people liked and disliked. Lessons learned from previous games such as Skyrim’s technical bugs will also play a part in making Fallout 4 a better game.
Fallout 4 is scheduled to release on November 10th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. For more information stay tuned to Gamespresso.
