The Final Fantasy VII remake might be the most sought after games of all time. Fans have been dying to see the 1997 original with the beautiful look of today’s AAA titles for years. Since the remake was finally announced at this year’s E3, gamers have been gaining new information over time, including some of the important changes.
Director, Tetsuya Nomura, spoke with Official Playststion Magazine, as reported by GamesRadar, about the most recently announced change to the original Final Fantasy VII. This change comes in the form of the game’s combat. The original Final Fantasy VII had a classic turn-based combat system, so perhaps the “dramatic changes” will bring the pace up a bit. Nomura added, “We’re not going to be changing it into a shooter or something like that. We are going to be bringing dramatic changes, but we want to make sure it’s still recognizable.”
If there is anyone to trust with the remake of Final Fantasy VII, it’s Tetsuya Nomura. While the talk of these changes might be scary, they may just turn out for the best in the end.
