Head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, has announced on Twitter that Gears of War: Ultimate Edition will release on PC after the Xbox One has been release. This means that the PC version will release after August 25th when it is scheduled to release for the Xbox One. No official date has yet to be announced.
The PC version of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition was announced at E3. It will support 4k resolutions and feature DirectX 12 support. More specifics for the PC edition have yet to be announced.
Gears of War: Ultimate Edition will feature 19 multiplayer maps and six game modes. It will also include five new chapters never released on the Xbox 360. It will feature 60fps gameplay, although, it was already present in the PC version of Gears of War.
