San Diego Comic-Con is going on right now. Today at the convention, developer The Coalition announced that Gears of War: Ultimate Edition will be packaged with all new Xbox One systems this summer.
Following the game’s release in August, all Xbox One systems will come packaged with Gears of War: Ultimate Edition. The bundle will run at $350, the normal cost for the system. This is the latest bundle for the console, following Halo: The Master Chief Collection as a free pack-in.
The Coalition also announced that Gears of War: Ultimate Edition will come with five extra single-player missions. The missions were originally cut from the Xbox 360 version to allow the developer to release the title on time, but were later added to the PC port of the game.
Gears of War: Ultimate Edition releases on August 25th on the Xbox One. It will come to PC at a later date. The game includes the Gears of War 4 beta, which does not have a date as of now. Gamers will be able to play the Ultimate Edition at 4K resolution on PC.
