It has already been announced that Halo 5: Guardians will be receiving a number of different editions. The most expensive edition, the $250 Limited Collector’s Edition, is the only version of the game to not have a physical copy of the game. Not many people were happy about this. Luckily for them, 343 Industries will allow those who purchase this version of the game to get a physical copy at no extra cost.
On Halo Waypoint, 343 Industries assured gamers that they can receive a physical copy of Halo 5 at no extra cost when they buy the Limited Collector’s Edition. They stated: “Today, we’re able to confirm that for those who would like a physical disc, we’ll provide an option for fans to exchange their digital copy for a physical copy at no additional cost.”
It is unknown how long those who buy the Halo 5 LCE will have to wait for their physical copy to come in. The LCE does come in a week early, which will give Microsoft some time to get the disc to buyers by the time the game actually releases.
Halo 5: Guardians releases for the Xbox One on October 27th. The LCE arrives on October 20th. This edition comes with a number of items, including a number of digital items and a statue of Master Chief and Spartan Locke.
