Battlefield 4 fans will have their guns locked and loaded as DICE announced that Battlefield 4’s CTE (Community Test Environment) will launch on July 6. Used as a tool to help maximize players’ experience. DICE will implement a variety of changes to the game and will allow BETA testers to try them out and provide feedback to the developers.
“With continued Battlefield 4 developmental support, [CTE] will allow us to iterate on more daring and experimental changes directly affecting Xbox One players,” DICE explained. “As a player in the CTE, you will be able to provide your feedback and influence the future of Battlefield 4.”
Issues including lagging, sound difficulties, and matchmaking problems have been among the main issues Battlefield players have been dealing with. With CTE, Battlefield will look to not only fix these bugs, but also add new features.
