Meteos steps down from Cloud 9, Hai comes out of retirement
Recently, Cloud 9's general manager Jack Etienne made the official announcement recently that C9's jungler, Meteos, was stepping down.Meteos has been with Cloud 9 since 2013 and his contract was ending October 7th of this year. He is being temporarily replaced by former shotcaller and midlaner Hai, who went into retirement this past April. Meteos has stated that he felt the team atmosphere could be improved if he let someone else jungle and call the shots. He is still very much staying a part of the team and is not quitting altogether.

“This was a difficult decision to make as clearly things on C9 have not been working out. I think stepping back for now and letting someone else jungle will help the team atmosphere and keep Cloud9 competitive in the LCS.”
