Microsoft announces Comic-Con plans
Microsoft has announced some exciting plans for Comic-Con this week. The company will be hosting an “Xbox Lounge” at the Manchester Hyatt in downtown San Diego and will host over 90 gaming stations. The lounge is open to the public and will feature unreleased Xbox One games such as The Division, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, Forza Motorsport 6, and Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2.Microsoft will also have celebrity appearances and be running daily tournaments, including a tournament where teams of players compete in the “Breakout Arena” using Boomco’s Halo toys. A new map will also be revealed for Halo 5: Guardians, built in a 6’ x 6’ display of Mega Bloks. For fans of cosplay, Xbox and Crystal Dynamics are hosting a gathering of Lara Croft cosplayers at 10 AM. The lounge will be open 11 AM - 8 PM Thursday to Saturday and Sunday 10 AM - 5 PM.

At Comic-Con, fans can visit Microsoft’s Xbox booth to try Halo 5: Guardians Warzone mode at its first public showing. There will also be a number of panels hosted by Microsoft, including one panel featuring developers from Rare discussing Rare Replay. Other panels discuss Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, Halo 5: Guardians, Fable Legends, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and a special Halo line of Mega Bloks.
