Just when you caught your breath after E3, Microsoft has announced plans to again take it away.
The upcoming Gamescom industry event is taking place in Cologne, Germany from August 5-9, and Microsoft revealed what they plan to show when their briefing takes place.
On August 4 at 7 a.m. PDT, the company has plans to show off what they call “the greatest games lineup in Xbox history” which is set to include titles such as Scalebound, Quantum Break, and Crackdown. Notably, all of these titles were missing from Microsoft’s E3 press conference just a few weeks back.
Microsoft previously had announced that it would be holding some titles back from its E3 press conference for this purpose, and they will certainly have the stage and space to do so after Sony announced that they will not be having a large presence this year at the conference, instead opting to show much more at Paris Games Week in October.
The Xbox booth on the show floor will include playable titles such as Halo 5: Guardians, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Forza Motorsport 6. A stream of Microsoft’s conference will also be available online.
Let us know what else you’re hoping to see from Microsoft and Xbox at Gamescom this year – and if you think a lack of Sony will play a large role in how the conference ultimately goes down.
