PS4 Leads Console Sales for June
The NPD Group released its numbers for June recently showing that sales for hardware, industry wide, were up and that the PS4 was at that the top of that list throughout the month extending it's streak to two months of being the top selling gaming console on the market.Sony cites that a large amount of their success comes from their bundle released in June that includes the $400 console and one controller as well as a copy of Arkham Knight.Microsoft is not to be forgotten about here as they were the number one selling console back in April and have already started making plans for the fall. To answer, there are a few new bundles of the Xbox One including upcoming titles Forza Motorsport 6 and Gears of War: Ultimate Edition. All will come with the new standard 1TB version of the Xbox One. With their announcement of backwards compatibility, Xbox One sales have gone up 51% with Xbox Live memberships rising by 22%.

In Nintendo’s corner, between the WiiU and Nintendo 3DS systems, there’s been a 20% increase in sales with 40% of an increase across all 3DS systems.
