Still no plans for western release of 3DS Dragon Quest VII and VIII
At this year’s Japan Expo, Square Enix had a large booth prominently feature it’s upcoming Dragon Quest games, at which players could try demos of the game. A special shirt was even given to those who were able to beat the boss in the demo.At the aforementioned event, Finaland managed to get an interview with Yuji Horii, (creator of Dragon Quest), Ryota Aomi, (Producer), and Kenichi Osugawara (Producer at Koei Tecmo).

The most important thing to come out the interview? It appears that the 3DS remakes of Dragon Quest VII and VIII will not be localized any time soon.
The Japanese release of Dragon Quest VII has been out since early 2013 and the Dragon Quest VIII remake is currently in production.
