Four DLC characters for Mortal Kombat X are known so far. We have already seen the release of three of them. It seems that we will be getting a peek at the fourth and final known character this Sunday.
Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon announced on Twitter that we will see a game-play breakdown of the final DLC character, Tremor. The livestream will take place on Tuesday, July 21st.
He also put out a couple of tweets that hint at Tremor being shown this Sunday. The first tweet states: “Seismic activity is predicting something could be happening on Sunday…” The second tweet states “Is that a flaming ground buzz saw?” Both tweets were accompanied by images, which can be seen below.
In another tweet, Boon responds to a message asking if Tremor would be playable on Sunday. He responds with “PLAY? No… SEE?”
Tremor will be the final fighter included in the Kombat Pack. However, Boon has hinted at the fact that Tremor will not be the final DLC fighter for Mortal Kombat X. In one of the tweets, Boon describes Tremor as the “Kombat Pack Final? fighter.” As Boon likes to tease fans on Twitter, this question mark could mean that Tremor is not the final DLC fighter for Mortal Kombat X.
Many series staples such as Noob, Baraka, Sindel, and Nightwolf were not playable in Mortal Kombat X. Some of these characters are in the game, but are non-playable with limited move sets for players to fight against. This has led to speculation that these characters might become DLC fighters down the road.
Mortal Kombat X is available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
