It seems that development studio Ubisoft Toronto is working on an all new title, according to a job listing found on the company’s page.
The job listing was posted on Twitter by Heather Holmes, the studio’s team lead talent specialist. The tweet reads: “New senior game designer with 3Cs [character, controls, camera] expertise on a new IP here at Ubisoft Toronto. Must have AAA game experience.”
The listing does not give much insight in what the project might be, but does mention that the candidate will “be responsible for developing game systems, controls and interfaces (as well as the other interactive elements of his/her project) in order to bring the vision of the Producer into a playable experience.”
In March 2014, studio head Jade Raymond said that Ubisoft Toronto is working on five unannounced projects. These projects are said to include “two new IP” and a “new Splinter Cell.”
Raymond has left Ubisoft Toronto and founded a new EA studio called Motive. The studio’s first project is working on the Star Wars from former Uncharted writer Amy Hennig, which is also being developed by Dead Space studio Visceral.
