Warcraft Lorebook series to show unseen history of Azeroth
Lore is a huge part of World of Warcraft. It drives the universe and it is packed full of twists and turns, heroes and villains and deep, rich characters. That being said, in the vast timeline over which the games are set, and a long long time before that, there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes that a lot of people may now know about.A new book series announced by Blizzard is set to fix that. Warcraft Chronicles: Vol. 1 is the first in a new series of lore books that aims to tell the story "from the creation of the Warcraft universe all the way up until the story of The Last Guardian, which is essentially the story of Warcraft: Orcs and Humans" said Chris Metzen, Blizzard's senior vice president of story and franchise development or better known as the guy with the awesome plot ideas.

Peter Lee, an artist for Blizzard, has been given the task of realizing the imagery of the book. After winning an artist’s intern ship contest he joined the team in 2012 and is best known for his Darkmoon Faire artwork, amongst other fantastic artwork that you can find on DeviantArt here.
Here is story aficionado, Chris Metzen talking about the Warcraft Chronicles series:
There’s no official release date set yet but it sounds like it’s going to be a must have library addition for any Warcraft fan.
