A new batch of Amiibo get a release date, including 30th Anniversary Mario

It has been announced that the next batch of figures will release this September.Today Nintendo announced that the next wave of Amiibo figures will be released on September 11th. The line-up this time is 30th Anniversary Mario, Ganondorf, Olimar, Zero Suit Samus, Bowser Jr., and Dr. Mario. Nintendo had given these Amiibo figures a September release back in April. It was also announced that the 30th Anniversary Mario figure will come in two colors, classic and modern.

Another group of Amiibo were also announced for September as well. On September 25th, the Retro 3 Pack will release in the US. This bundle includes ROB, Duck Hunt, and Mr. Game and Watch. Another set featuring the Mii Fighters was also slated for a September release, but were pushed back into November.
Details on availability and dates when preorders open up “will be announced directly from various retailers in the near future.” It is unknown if any of these figures will be retailer exclusive.
