EA has released more details regarding the Battlefield Hardline expansion titled Robbery. Robbery is centered around one thing: scoring one big reward. The expansion brings with it new weapons, four new maps, and a new game mode called Squad Heist.
According to EA, these are the features we can expect from the expansion:
- Four expansive maps: The Docks, Break Pointe, Museum, and Precinct 7
- New 5v5 game mode: Squad Heist
- 4 new weapons
- 2 new gadgets
- 2 new factional vehicles and new vehicle upgrades
- New camos and vehicle paints
- The Legendary Super Feature
The new game mode will be similar to Battlefield 4’s Squad Rush, a game mode in which five players attempt to arm the bomb against five defenders. However in Hardline, players will have to successfully attack or defend a vault. EA outlines the stages below:
Stage 1: Criminals take a Drill, break into Vault 1, and grab the Loot from the vault.
Stage 2: Criminals take a Drill, break into Vault 2, and grab the Loot from the vault.
Stage 3: Criminals run to an escape location, call a helicopter, and get the loot to safety.
The expansion will be available for premium users in September 2015, and will be made available to all other users at a later date.
