Today marks the first day that Xbox One and PC players have access to the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta. Not everyone is able to access the beta though, Microsoft said there are issues with the Xbox One beta codes.
In a post on the Xbox Live Status page, Microsoft reported that they are aware of the issue. They wrote, “Hey Xbox members, we are aware that some of you may be experiencing issues redeeming your beta tokens for Call of Duty: Black Ops III. We are working closely with our partner to get this resolved ASAP! Thank you for being patient while we work. We’ll post another update when more information becomes available.”
Access to the PC beta appears to be unaffected. The Xbox One and PC betas are scheduled to go through Aug 30th. They include three maps with seven different modes. No word yet on if these betas will get an extra mode and map like the PS4 beta did.
PS4 players have already gotten a taste of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s multiplayer in their beta that went through Aug 24th. Originally a closed beta that started on Aug 19th, Treyarch opened it up to the whole PS4 community on Aug 21st. There is no word yet on if they will open the Xbox One and PC betas to the public.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be released November 6th on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
