Bungie just released a new teaser trailer which shows off new features coming to Destiny Year Two with The Taken King. It teases the increased level cap, the new Light system, questing, faction allegiances, exotic blueprints, and some campaign story snippets with voice acting from Nathan Fillion.
Bungie is also hosting a three week livestreaming series to talk about the new features in The Taken King and how it will evolve the Destiny world. Details on the first livestream can be found under the video.
The livestreams will be hosted on Bungie’s Twitch channel and the three week schedule can be found here.
Tomorrow’s livestream (Aug 19th 11am PDT) is called “DESTINY YEAR TWO” and will be hosted by executive producer Mark Noseworthy and senior design lead Tyson Green with community questions sourced live by Cozmo. They will answer questions like:
- How will your own personal highlights from the first year of Destiny translate to the second?
- What will your Guardian’s lifestyle be like in the new and improved Tower?
- How will your Guardian become a more powerful snowflake over the course of your next journey?
- Is it true that Character Level and Light will rise in exciting new ways?
The Taken King drops Sep 15th and brings massive changes that include new weapons, changes to Destiny’s economy, and new features in Strike missions. Bungie also explained why The Taken King is worth $40.
