First revealed back in April, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is the sequel to 2011’s Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and, Eidos Montreal announced today, will be hitting store shelves February 23rd.
Coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is set two years after the events of Human Revolution and sees the world even further separated by those with mechanical augmentations and those without. Courteously of the game’s overview, players once again assume the role of the augmented Adam Jensen, who, “now an experienced covert operative,… is forced to operate in a world that has grown to despise his kind.”
With the release date announcement also comes details on the game’s pre-order program. Labeled “Augment Your Pre-order,” the program consists of five tiers of pre-order rewards, each unlocked as more people pre-order the game. Within each tier, the player is then given a choice as to which bonus they would like. Tier 1, already unlocked, gives players the choice between, the Intruder Pack, which includes extra skins, ammo and grenades trailered to stealth, the Enforcer Pack, which includes the same, with an emphasis on combat, and the Classic Pack, which includes a limited mix of both.
