Hajime Tabata, the director for Final Fantasy 15, has confirmed that the game will be out some time in 2016 for PS4 and Xbox One.
Final Fantasy 15 was conspicuously absent from E3, skipping in favor of Gamescom. During a special presentation broadcast August 5, Tabata revealed major information regarding the game. While most of the information was regarding the game’s story and lore, there was also some information regarding gameplay.
Earlier this week Square Enix released a new trailer for the game, laying the foundation for the game’s story.
Final Fantasy 15 was announced in May 2006, before the release of Final Fantasy 13. The long development period has since caused rampant speculation about the title, though that seems to be about to change.
