GameStop finds that 92% of gamers own unplayed games
Since the age of digital releases, keeping track of all of your games on a hard drive has never been easier. This, however, has not always been the case. Most video game enthusiasts have a stack of cartridges and disc cases in their home, some more organized than others. But the real question is, do they play all of these games?GameStop recently did a survey to ask this very question. The results showed that 92% of all gamers own games they do not play. This survey was conducted with 400 people between the ages of 25 and 54. While GameStop's research partner, Survata, stated that there was a 4.79% margin of error, this number is still very high.

While this survey brings up an interesting issue, it seems that it was mostly used to help GameSpot promote people into trading in their used games. Some people, however, would believe that this is not an issue. A stack of games you no longer play is like a shelf of books you’ve already read. What do you think? Let us know in the comment below.
