Microsoft has announced that UFC’s reigning heavyweight champion, Fabricio Werdum, will be featured in Halo 5: Guardians. Werdum is a huge fan of the Halo universe and will play a voice-only role in the upcoming first-person shooter.
“Fabricio Werdum makes a small, voice-only cameo appearance in Halo 5: Guardians,” a Microsoft spokesperson said. “He’s a big fan of Halo and we’re big fans of his, so it’s always fun when these kinds of things work out. It’s a bit of an Easter egg though, so you’ll have to really be looking for it.”
Microsoft has not given any details on where you will find the heavyweight champion in the game. However, they did state that you would have to do some hunting in order to discover him.
Halo 5: Guardians is scheduled to release October 27. It will be released exclusively on Xbox One. Make sure to stay tuned to Gamespresso for more information.
