Bungie has just released a new teaser trailer for their weekly livestream series of Destiny: The Taken King. The trailer showcases a new Strike, but you can also hear some of the new Ghost dialogue from voice actor Nolan North (Uncharted, Assassin’s Creed) who replaced Game of Throne’s Peter Dinklage earlier this year.
The trailer teases tomorrow’s broadcast which is entitled “Strike the Dreadnaught” and will showcase a new Strike in The Taken King. You can also see quick glimpses of new enemies and locations on the enemy ship.
This is the second of three livestreams that Bungie is hosting to showcase the expansion’s new features and how Destiny will evolve in The Taken King. Details on the second livestream can be found under the video.
“STRIKE THE DREADNAUGHT” will be streamed tomorrow Aug 26th at 11am PDT on Bungie’s Twitch channel. It will be hosted by design lead James Tsai with Fruit Nation ambassador Mr. Fruit. They will broadcast one of the new Strikes against a rival Cabal force and showcase the new Guardian sub-classes in action. They will also answer questions like:
- What’s it like to infiltrate the Dreadnaught?
- What surprises do the Taken have for us in combat?
- How are boss battles different in The Taken King?
Last week’s livestream revealed many changes to the mechanics of Destiny including doubling the vault space and more information on the level boost. They also showed off new weapons, including a sword.
