We’re beginning to see sequels packaged with their predecessors now that the Xbox One will be backwards compatible. Fallout 4, for example, will also be coming with Fallout 3, as was announced last month. During Microsoft’s Gamescom 2015 conference, it was announced that Just Cause 2 would come with Just Cause 3.
Whether there is some sort of system, such as pre-ordering or buying a special edition version is yet to be seen. Since there was no announcement of such a thing, it’s safe to assume that Just Cause 2 will just come with a new copy of Just Cause 3.
The news was very quickly mentioned in the latest trailer for Just Cause 3 during Gamescom, but the news was quickly repeated by Microsoft’s Twitter handle, as seen below.
Just Cause 3 is set to come out on December 1st for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Only the Xbox One version, however, will come with a digital copy of Just Cause 2.
