With Mad Max, the open-world car-combat game from Avalanche Studios, just over a week from release, a new TV spot has emerged showing a quick, brutal look at the tone and violence players can get excited for.
Though only thirty seconds, and not anything radically new, the trailer is all taken from in game and sets the mood quite nicely, a solid voice over from Max, with the appropriate Australian accent, getting gamers prepared to jump into the chaos. The game’s description reads, “In The Wasteland, it’s every man for himself. Playing as the reluctant warrior, players must embark on a treacherous journey to build the ultimate war vehicle and leave the madness behind.”
Though originally meant to release on last-gen and current-gen, the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions were canceled back in March. Mad Max will make its way to PS4, Xbox One, and PC next week, September 1st in North America, September 4th in Europe.
