A new Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain based PlayStation 4 system will be released in Japan, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. Photos of the gorgeous system have surfaced on NeoGAF, revealing a typo on top of the console.
One of the images shows a close-up of an image and text located on top of the system, just above the disc drive. It is a fictitious caution for users: “Do not use molybdeum lubrication.” One Reddit user, however, has found a misspelling in the warning. Molybdeum is not the name of the chemical; it’s actually molybdenum.
It is not an error that many would have noticed, but is a blemish regardless. It is not clear if anything can be done by Konami at this point, as the error is printed directly on the console.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will release on September 1st. The game will release on PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. Information on the game’s microtransactions released today, including pricing.
