Nintendo announced earlier this week that the Ninendo 2DS would receive a price cut in the United States. The handheld that normally runs at $129 will now be sold at $99, so the 30 dollar price cut is a welcome.
The handhelds for Nintendo continue to put up good numbers contrary to the console struggles. While the 2DS has been the least selling of the handhelds, it still continues to outsell expectations. You can get the 2DS Mario Kart 7 bundle for the price of $99 now so that can only help.
As for games coming out in the Fall for the 3DS/2DS, there are a quite a few.
