Rainbow Six Seige, the upcoming team-based shooter, has been delayed by publisher Ubisoft, being pushed back from early October to the beginning of December."Whether it's been through playtests in our studios, the closed alpha, or the recent hands-on demos at events like E3 or Gamescom, player feedback has been essential to the development of Rainbow Six Seige" Ubisoft stated in an online blog post.
Rainbow Six Seige, the upcoming team-based shooter, has been delayed by publisher Ubisoft, being pushed back from early October to the beginning of December.
“Whether it’s been through playtests in our studios, the closed alpha, or the recent hands-on demos at events like E3 or Gamescom, player feedback has been essential to the development of Rainbow Six Seige” Ubisoft stated in an online blog post.
“Getting the game in people’s hands and listening to what they have to say helps us understand how we can improve their experience, and we’d like to thank everyone who’s taken part in the process so far” the publisher further explained.
“This wasn’t an easy decision, but based on feedback we’ve received, and our own internal tests, we felt there are adjustments and improvements we can make, including the co-op experience across all game modes, weapon and gadget balancing, as well as menu and interface navigation. We’re taking a little more time to make these changes, and we think it’s the right call” Ubisoft continued.
As we all know delays are sadly nothing out of the ordinary within the games industry, and Ubisoft must have good reason to delay Rainbow Six Seige, an online game that revolves around everything working and being in perfect sync.
Rainbow Six Seige is now due to release worldwide on December 1st, for the PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
