With the trailer above, it was announced the next piece of Dragon Age Inquisition DLC will be landing next week, August 11th, on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Titled The Descent the DLC will see players once more face off against the Darkspawn as tremors break open the Deep Roads and the whole world is threatened. To solve the mystery of what is causing the earthquakes, the inquisitor sets out for the Deep Roads, and will uncover secrets that will “shake the world to it’s core.”
This is the second piece of story DLC for Dragon Age Inquisition, the first, Jaws of Hakkon, releasing back in March for Xbox One and PC, and then in May for PS4. Unlike the first piece, which was controversial due to the Microsoft exclusivity agreement that prevented Bioware from even discussing the release date for PS4 at first, The Descent is coming to all current gen platforms at the same time. It was revealed in July that all future Dragon Age DLC will not be making its way to last-gen consoles.
While no pricing has been announced for The Descent, Jaws of Hakkon launched at $15, and it is likely The Descent will follow suit.
This all comes as it was announced Dragon Age Inquisition has been added to the free games subscription service, EA Access.
