Earlier this week, Activision released another Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 trailer, which showcased the game’s all-star lineup and improved visuals. Player will be able to choose from 10 professional skates including Chris Cole, David Gonzalez, Nyjah Huston, and Lizzie Armanto. Tony Hawk mentions in the trailer that the new all-star line up is meant to reflect the diversity in professional skating by representing skaters from different cultures and genders.
Also featured in the new trailer are the new visuals implemented in the game. In an interview with Gamespot, developer Robomodo states, “It’s more over-the-top–the lighting has been improved and we’ve pumped up the game’s colors. Also, details like motion blur, depth of field, and outlining were tweaked, in the interest of improving the player’s focus on the skater and nearby obstacles and terrain.” Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 is definitely moving away from the realistic look of previous games.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 is expected to be released on September 29th, 2015 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, while Xbox 360 and PS3 versions will be released November 10th.
