Treyarch has announced that Call of Duty Black Ops 3 will be played competitively on the PlayStation 4 version of the game. This, coupled with the Sony console receiving all DLC before the Xbox One, marks the PS4 version as the definitive way to play when it is released later this year.
In addition to the Sony announcement, Treyarch also revealed a partnership with Nvidia for a more optimized PC experience. Among the slew of features promised is SLI and Crossfire support, 4k support, and dedicated ranked servers.
While the game will work with Windows 10, it’s still only slated to use DirectX 11 with no word on DirectX 12 support as of yet.
