Watch teaser for HBO's Sci-Fi Western inspired by Red Dead Redemption & Bioshock
HBO has released the first teaser trailer for Westworld, the upcoming Sci-Fi Western series starring Anthony Hopkins & Ed Harris.The trailer is quite creepy and alluring, giving us a first look at the re-imagining of the 1973 Michael Crichton movie, which I personally absolutely loved after my dear papa managed to sit me down and watch it. The show is being led by Jonathan Nolan, the creator of Person of Interest. He also co-wrote a number of movies with his slightly more famous brother Christopher Nolan, including The Dark Knight Rises and Interstellar. Jonathan told Esquire writer Matt Patches last year that video games Red Dead Redemption and Bioshock were two of his inspirations for Westworld.
HBO isn’t giving away too many details right now, but describes Westworld as:
A dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the future of sin.
