On Wednesday, Warner Brothers released a 626MB patch to customers who bought the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight. The patch received an overwhelmingly positive reaction from users. However, the patch was pulled due to being released to users ahead of schedule.
Warner Brothers has previously stated that the patch should go live sometime in September. However, they haven’t gave a specific release date. It’s speculated by many that the reasoning for the patch not being released is because they want the game to go back on sale on steam, and the patch to be available simultaneously.
Plenty of users wrote their reactions on the Steam boards who were able to play the game with the patch. With many of them stating that most, if not all of the technical problems were fixed. One user wrote ” the game runs very smooth with no frame drops, at a constant 60 frames per second.”
