Black Ops 3 for PS3 and Xbox 360 will not feature stat-sharing with current gen consoles
David Vonderhaar, Studio Design Director at Treyarch, confirmed earlier this week that the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Call of Duty Black Ops 3 will not allow players to transfer their stats to the PS4 and Xbox One respectively. This means that anyone who decides to upgrade to the Playstation 4 or Xbox One during Black Ops 3's reign in gaming will have to completely restart their multiplayer campaign, regardless of progress in the PS3 and Xbox 360 version of the game.

Considering the utter lack of features in the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions in general, and the fact that they are being ported by a third party, last-gen players may wish to hold off on a purchase until they can upgrade to the newer consoles.
