Having recently moved over to the new reborn client, Valve are already experiencing difficulties. The reborn client has been in beta for the last few months, and many would have questioned if it was ready for release. Some bugs are to be expected, with valve admitting that players should “Expect the weeks that follow to focus on ironing out issues, refining the dashboard and iterating based on your feedback.”
It is necessary to have a large player pool in order to discover and remove the majority of bugs, but it is advisable to avoid ranked play for now. Their is a bug that causes the Dire ancients to automatically stack themselves, without any intervention. This bug presents a huge balance issue, as the Dire will always have a large source of income available to them with these stacks.
The bug is so game breaking that Join Dota have announced that they will be suspending all of their matches until it is fixed. Of course bugs are to be expected, but hopefully Valve will be able to fix this particular one in a timely manner.
