GameStop looking to hire 28,000 seasonal employees for the holidays
It seems that GameStop is preparing for the holidays.Today the company announced that they are looking to hire 28,000 seasonal employees across the country. That is up 12 percent from last year's 25,000 workers. GameStop HR executive Lisa Keglovitz stated that hiring this many employees ensures that the companies stores are "appropriately staffed to meet out customers' needs this holiday."

GameStop HR executive Lisa Keglovitz stated that hiring this many employees ensures that the companies stores are “appropriately staffed to meet out customers’ needs this holiday.”
GameStop is looking for in-store sales associates, as well as consumer electronics technicians for its refurbishment operation center in Texas. The company is also looking to fill in a number of positions at its distribution centers in Grapevine, Texas, Louisville, and Kentucky.
Workers can expect part-time day, night, and weekend shifts for 10-25 hours a week. All seasonal employees will receive the same 15 percent discount on select merchandise that regular employees are given. Hiring begins this week, and will continue through the end of October.
