Hardcore seems to be a sci-fi and supernatural movie. The main character has been revived from the dead as a cyborg. This was possible with the help from his wife Haley. Unfortunately for the cyborg, Henry, his memory is gone. In the YouTube video’s description, it is then stated,
5 minutes later, your wife has been kidnapped and you should probably go get her back. Who’s got her? His name’s Akan (Danila Kozlovsky), he’s just a psychotic megalomaniac with telekinetic powers, and a never-ending army of mercenaries. You’re also in an unfamiliar city of Moscow, Russia and everyone wants you dead. Everyone, except for a mysterious British fellow called Jimmy (Sharlto Copley).
This isn’t the first time the director, Ilya Naishuller, has done something like this. Ilya directed a music video that was totally in first person for his band, Biting Elbows. This video is also action packed, and has a great song to go with it. In the music video, a man is in pursuit of a device that can teleport great distances. In order to obtain the device he must kill the many people standing in his way.
