“I’ve had a long-held passion for the chamber music of the 19th Century; the intensity one can get from this sort of music is quite distinct from the massive force of an orchestra,” Wintory said regarding the time period of the upcoming title in the Assassin’s Creed series.
The score that Wintory has created for the game is reportedly 3 hours long, and hopes to “evoke the prowess and sarcasm,” of Syndicate’s two main protagonists, Evie and Jacob Frye.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will launch on October 23 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with the PC version arriving just about a month later. For the first time in the series history, Syndicate will feature two protagonists and a whole lot of changes to the combat.
