Konami stops producing triple-a games
Konami is will be focusing on mobile games.With the exception of Pro Evolution Soccer, Konami has stopped production of all triple-A titles. They will continue to work on Metal Gear Online; as well as, other updates to Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. However, the company does not plan on releasing another big Metal Gear game.

The story originates from both Gameblog and Eurogamer. They were told by Konami that they will no longer be producing large games. Konami stated it would be moving towards mobile games. Rika Muranaka, the composer of the Metal Gear Solid, and Castlevania franchises, further confirmed the story. She tweeted, that it is sad that Konami is moving away from big games. This is because now she must find another triple-A company to work for.
Konami will now be producing game on smart phones. Mobile games will be their new main platform. The company believes the future of gaming is on mobile devices. This is because Japan has seen a drastic rise in the mobile game market.
