Rising Star games took to the EGX floor this weekend with their plethora of upcoming titles. The studio showed off a number of games including Lumo, Superbeat: Xonic, and Poncho.
Rising Star’s presence in the Rezzed zone of EGX is quite large. With six titles on show, covering a variety of platforms.
The biggest focus of their presentation was their upcoming title Lumo, the isometric adventure game, which they hope will be one of the great games of 2016. PR Manager Tyrone Walcott told us what they meant by that.
“Nobody has really announced the games for 2016 yet,” he explained to us. “We’re saying this is going to be one of those great games.
“We’re not saying it’s going to be THE best game, we’re saying it’s going to be great though.” He clarified.
Walcott spoke highly of the title, saying that it steps away from conventions and wants to be unique..
Lumo is being developed by Garath Noyce, a veteran of the games development industry. His previous works include Crackdown and PGR.
Lumo is set to be released around February 2016, and will be coming to PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Wii-U.
