Mighty No. 9 demo delayed
Mighty No. 9 special demo has been delayed, according to their Kickstarter update. Developer Comcept explained that although the demo was ready to go, Comcept ran into issues when distributing Mighty No. 9's demo via Steam to only those eligible from the Kickstarter.Comcept also referenced that backers have expressed interest for a non-time constraint demo, and making it DRM-free would take a bit more work. "We’ve also been listening to your feedback about preferring to have a demo that is not time-limited. Given the complications with giving you the demo, we came to the conclusion that it would be better to make the demo DRM-free without any time restrictions."

Comcept went on to apologize for the slight delays in releasing the demo, and they understand that their backers are frustrated.
“We sincerely apologize for this delay, but we hope you’ll like the resulting changes! We will keep our backers up-to-date regarding the release of this demo as soon as we have more information.”
Mighty No. 9 smashed its Kickstarter goal of $900,000 bringing the total money earned up to $3,845,170. The stretch goals reached will ensure that Mighty No. 9’s is released on PC, Mac, Linux, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, Wii U, Vita, and the 3DS.
