North America finally getting regular-sized New 3DS, along with a Zelda-themed XL version
Nintendo's announcement for the New 3DS was a bit odd to say the least. Not only would it not come with a charger, it would also only come in the form of the XL version, with no normal-sized version ever announced. Now, two new exclusive New 3DS's are being released, with one of them being a regular-sized New 3DS.The non-XL version is for Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer. The combo pack comes with two different sets of face and back plates, a copy of the game, an Isabelle Amiibo card, a Nintendo NFC reader attachment, and the New 3DS. At a price point of $219.99, you're getting a lot of bang for your buck. As well, you'll be getting the ability to change the face plates at a moment's whim, along with having the first regular-sized New 3DS in the North American market. The Animal Crossing bundle will be released on September 25th, 2015.

Word of warning, however: you’ll still have to purchase Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes separately, since the New 3DS XL doesn’t come with the game.
