If you haven’t yet, Evolve is now officially playable for free on the Xbox One and PC this weekend.
Beginning at 12:01 a.m. PDT this morning (September 4), Xbox One users can play the 4V1 monster hunter game for as much as they desire until 11:59 PM PDT on September 7. The free weekend opened slightly earlier for PC users at 2:00 p.m. PDT on September 3, 2015 but culminates slightly earlier at 10:00 a.m. PDT on September 7.
However, users who already own the game aren’t left out in the cold for this promo. Those who already own the game across all platforms – including PS4 – will have access to all currently available DLC for the title, including access to the playable characters included in Evolve Hunting Season 1 and the playable Behemoth Monster for 24 hours, beginning at 12:01 a.m. PDT on September 4.
Beginning at 12:01 a.m. PDT on September 5, all Evolve players will gain access to the available playable characters from Evolve Hunting Season 2 for 24 hours.
Evolve released earlier this year, and while it was recognized for its unique and thrilling gameplay, it was largely criticized for lack of content and expansive day-one DLC. With a chance to try it out for free, will you be giving Evolve a go? Let us know in the comments below.
