Ubisoft has extended the Rainbow Six Siege beta to October 1st. According to a Ubisoft forum, the extension was due to trouble joining into games because of the abundant amount of traffic. This gave players less of a chance to test out and enjoy the game.
The graphics were revealed in the closed beta. The game runs at 1080p on the PS4, 900p on the Xbox One, and 720p to 1080p on the PC. Ubisoft adds that the graphics may improve before the game’s release.
They have also announced that the new game will not have a single-player campaign. However, it will have training mode where you can experience different operators and devices. Operators are the playable classes in the game, and 20 operators will be available at launch.
The art director Scott Mitchell stated, “You can play against enemy AI in co-op through all the maps. You can customize matches, so that’s what we’re offering on the single-player side of things.” Completing the training missions will grant you unlockable content, usable in main multiplayer section of the game.
Rainbow Six Siege was supposed to be released in October, but it was pushed back to December 1st.
