Xbox Live Gold members can now download Tomb Raider Definitive Edition on Xbox One and Crysis 3 for on Xbox 360 for free as part of this month’s Games with Gold offerings.
Starting today (Sept. 16), those who subscribe to Xbox Live Gold can download the above games for free until the end of the month.
Along with these games, The Deer God on Xbox One remains free for subscribers until the end of September, while Crysis 3 replaces Battlestations Pacific, which was previously available for Xbox 360 users from September 1-15.
Tomb Raider Definitive Edition was originally released in early 2014 as a remaster of the game that came to PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2013. Those who haven’t played the game can take this opportunity to experience Lara’s adventure prior to her next one when Rise of the Tomb Raider releases for Xbox One and Xbox 360 on November 10 later this year.
Crysis 3 originally released in 2013 as a post-apoclyptic, first-person shooter that garnered critical praise, but ended up as a commercial failure for publisher, Electronic Arts.
Those who do not have a Xbox 360 but own an Xbox One may still be wise to pick up Crysis 3, as Xbox 360 Games with Gold titles have a chance to be playable on the Xbox One when backwards compatibility rolls out later this fall.
