Last year, Wasteland 2 made its way to PC, but now Deep Silver and inXile are bringing the old-school isometric RPG to PS4 and Xbox One with Wasteland 2: Director’s Cut. With the game’s release just next month, a new trailer has emerged.
Blending live-action footage and gameplay the trailer introduces the narrative and tone to console players interested in testing themselves in the savage post-apocalyptic world. Titled “Welcome to the Wasteland,” the trailer shows the fall of civilization, and the rise of those left behind.
Wasteland 2: Director’s Cut launches October 13th, featuring updated graphics and new gameplay refinements like the “Precision Strike” and “Perk & Traits” systems. PC players will receive the same updates in the form of the free, Wasteland 2 Game of the Year Edition upgrade.
