Until Dawn might’ve scared you out of your seat, but it’s only going to get worse.
Until Dawn: Rush of Blood was confirmed to be coming to PlayStation VR at Sony’s press conference during Paris Games Week.
The new content for Until Dawn will take you through a first-person ride on a rollercoaster as an arcade shooter through a “descent of madness.” Simon Harris, executive producer of Until Dawn developer Supermassive Games wrote the following on the PlayStation Blog:
“When we first started working on Until Dawn: Rush of Blood, we were still in the middle of development on Until Dawn, but it was clear to us that the world and characters we were creating would be perfect to expand into new experiences. As we established compelling gameplay for VR, we were able to combine that with a journey through many familiar aspects of Blackwood Pines, but from a horrifying new perspective!”
Harris adds that playing this version of Until Dawn through VR is “incredibly different” than playing the standard game in front of a television.
Rumors about ‘Rush of Blood’ appeared on the internet earlier this week, while Supermassive Games denied working on any DLC for the standard version of Until Dawn on PS4.
