It seems a new Wii U bundle is coming to Europe.
Nintendo has announced a new Wii U bundle for Europe. The bundle comes with the 32 GB version of the console, as well as two games: Mario Kart 8 and Splatoon. Mario Kart 8 will come pre-installed on the console, while Splatoon will come in the form of a download code. The package will release on October 30th.
Nintendo has not announced a price as of yet, though MCV reports that the bundle will run gamers £239.99. This pricing makes the package the cheapest that Nintendo has offered so far.
The announcement of this Wii U bundle comes as we inch closer to the reveal of Nintendo’s next console, codenamed the NX. Nintendo has stated that they will not discuss the NX until 2016, despite announcing that it was in development in mid-2015. At that time, president Satoru Iwata said that the NX represented a “new concept,” and that the system was not a “simple replacement” for the 3DS and Wii U.
