Assassin’s Creed Syndicate managed to debut at number one for the week on the UK sales charts, but the sales figures for the game were lower than previous main entries in the series.
According to the tracker for its sales, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate managed to outperform last year’s Assassin’s Creed Rogue, released for the PS3 and Xbox 360, but failed to top sales for Assassin’s Creed Unity, a title released exclusively for PS4, Xbox One and PC. Syndicate’s place at the top meant FIFA 16 was knocked down to number two, while Guitar Hero Live debuted at number three, pushing Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection to the fourth spot.
Another new title for the week, Nintendo’s Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes, failed to crack the top 10, landing just outside of it at number 11. The title was released for Nintendo 3DS.
Titles that have managed to hold their spot in the top 10 include Lego Dimensions, Destiny: The Taken King and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Read below to see where they fell on the list and see the rest of the top 10 for video game sales on the UK sales chart.
