Recently, Gearbox Studios and 2K Games announced dates for the upcoming closed technical test for Battleborn.
Battleborn is a first-person shooter that will feature over 25 playable characters and ten different skill tiers to unlock.
Gamers can play the story mode by themselves, with others through split-screen, or with others online. There will also be a competitive multiplayer mode where teams of five battle against each other.
Gamers can RSVP for the closed technical test on Battleborn’s website here. Even though there is no guarantee to participate in the technical test, to be eligible Gamers have to create a SHiFT account and sign an NDA saying they won’t “capture gameplay footage, livestream, post images, or publicly discuss the technical test on the internet.”
2K Games also posted the recommended PC Specs for the technical test which are listed below.
- OS: Windows 7 x64-Bit or Later
- Processor: Intel Core2 Extreme CPU Q6850/ AMD A8-3870k (Quad Core CPU’s)
- Memory: 6 GB
- Hard Disk Space: 10 GB free
- Video Memory: 2 GB
- Video Card: AMD HD 7700/ NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 or better, PhysX support
- Sound: DirectX 11 Compliant
The developers will have a Battleborn open beta closer to the game’s launch, but dates for that test haven’t been provided yet.
Battleborn is scheduled to launch February 9th, 2016 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
